Rules and Regulations: Locations and Boards
Locations and Boards
Locations, locations, locations. You see tons in the forum, but you have no idea what they're for. Well, they are very simple. There are several types:
Wow. It's SO simple.
Shops are places where you buy items. Different Divisions do the shopkeeping, so just state the amount of money paid and the items you've bought as a post. That's all you have to do.
Restaurants are where you eat. Remember the whole 'starving' thing? If not, head over to the Basic Informations and find Money.
Normal locations are where you shinigami can chat with each other, IN CHARACTER, and do whatever. Play games, talk, eat, get married, make out, etc. I honestly don't care. Maybe you promised to meet a friend in the Courtyard Labyrinth. Who knows?
Training locations are where you train. Click around, and you should be able to find them. They should have some sort of indication that they're training grounds.
Mission locations are where you do missions. These are my favorite locations because these locations are everywhere! Your division house, a shop, a restaurant... any location can be a mission location. But that all depends on the type of mission, right?
The bank is where you can store your money. Just state the amount of money you want to put in. It's funny, though, because you can't make a withdrawal. EVER. But that's only because it's hard to manage. However, you can get it back in stat points. For every 1,000,000 y you put in, you can totally get yourself a stat point, for any stat. It's not that you buy stat points. It's that I am thaking you for 'disposing' of the money that is so hard to keep track of anyway.
Types of places include:
Sereitei includes Central 46, Gotei 13 grounds, all the boards, and whatever's under the category. I just have seperate Categories for Sereitei and Gotei 13 because it's easier to keep track of that way. You absolutely have to be in character.
Rukongai includes locations where you can be out of character. However, in some locations, you can't be. Those are clearly marked.
Earth includes Karakura Town and all that is within. You have to go through the Senkaimon to get there. You CAN go to Earth without a mission to do, as long as you have permission. After all, it's your Division that pays 100,000s of yens for you to get there and back.
For more information, go crazy on the Rules and Regulations.
1. Announcement Boards
You all can go crazy and declare things. It may be something about your marriage or the latest rumor, as long as you are IN CHARACTER. Also, when a shinigami can't be reached, the 13th Division may post a thing or two about mission updates.
2. Q&A Board
Yes, please ask away your questions. I would be happy to answer them.
3. Boards Mannerisms: IMPORTANT
Unless it's a casual board, like the Earth Free Board or something, you must follow a format:
State your Division, Name, and Rank. Then go on about your content in utmost manner. 13th Division guys will have a heck of a time reporting lots and lots of hollow sightings.
4. Mail Box
What the heck is this all about, right? No problems. I'll explain.
Reports have to get to places, and people want to sendmails/messages Ongoing Reports to each other. Simply post those reports as a topic in Mail Box forums of your Division, and just write where they're going to. For example, I could take all the reports from the 1st Division Report Room and save them in a big .pdf file as 'Weekly Reports'. Then I could load this up in the 1st Division Mail Box and state that these should be delivered to the 9th Division Reports Room. Then the 5th Division Messengers will gladly come and post that they will do so as a reply post. The nice messengers will then deliver them.
Now, Reports can be delivered in this way. But maybe you want to say something important to someone else. If you're a Captain, and you absolutely must say something to a certain someone, you can post the message and the To/From (rank, Division, and/or location) at the Mail Box. But if you're NOT a Captain, and you really need to say something, that's too bad. You're just not important enough, I suppose. It's the sad hierarchy of Gotei 13.
5. Training Places: Training Randomly
You can train at locations where Random Training is available. That's where you train for stat points, for a random stat. Who decides the stat? I have no idea. But if you want a good one, I hope you make good acquaintances with every possible officer who could be keeping track of the training.
6. Free Boards
You can post whatever you want. Maybe you want to make a date with someone. Post it here so that he/she won't have to look for you everywhere in Sereitei. Maybe you want a deliver a message from someone. Post it here. Do whatever you would like.
Awesome! I think we covered that. Not too long, was it?
