5th Division

Specialized Messaging and Academy Teaching

The 5th Division members are often messengers of Gotei 13 and teachers at the Demon Arts Institute. They are gentle figures who enjoy the peace and harmony. However, that is not to say that they aren't the supreme Kido Masters of Gotei 13. They are also specialized kido units who prefer to have hollows squirming under powerful bakudo as they leisurely release their zanpakutos. You didn't think that they were teachers without knowing much, did you?

If you are a gentle giant and a kido master, you are welcome anytime to the 5th Division.

4. Divisional Duties

A. Teaching

The Demon Arts Institute is practically run by the 5th Division. Therefore, with the exception of the Principal's Office, every possible room (except the resting places) must be taught by at least one officer every 24 hours. The assigned members are to sign-in to the Principal's Office after signing in to their Division buildings (therefore, there must be another sign-in officer in charge at the Principal's Office). Thus, the 5th Division needs to hand in two different sets of Sign-in Reports: one for the division building, and one for the Institute. After the assigned officers sign into the Institute, they must post something in their locations (classroom, etc.) to describe that they have 'taught'.

B. Messaging

The mail boxes are also run by the 5th Division. Assigned officers must check the Mail Boxes of every Division and deliver the mails, reports, etc. to the right destinations. That's not to say, however, that you must do specifically so if it is forwarded to a lower-rank recipient of under 3rd Seat. For example, if there are 5 Reports going to different lower-rank members of the same division, then all 5 reports may be put into that Division's Mail Box. All you have to do is start a topic in the respective Mail Box, its title starting with the word 'INCOMING'. The rest of the material, you make up: you're at a different division building, delivering mail. What would you say?

For other mails, which go to higher-rank members, should be delivered right to the Captains' Office. At the Captains' Office, of course, one cannot just enter and 'drop-off' the mails. They must announce their presence and then wait for a response for them to enter or leave their mails somewhere, etc.
