Law Enforcement

Yes, there are laws to be kept in the world. Soul Society also has many. But if you think that the 3rd Division is a mere police unit to enforce those rules, oh, are you wrong. These guys excel in every art of the shinigami, and are the ideal face of the Gotei 13. They shed the light of justice to the world, but that could go two ways, wouldn't you say? They enforce justice and the law to many others, but who's enforcing the laws on them? The more light they shine, the more shadows they make. Will you chase the lights or hide behind a fox-face mask?

You decide.

What do you mean, 'this Division is perfect for evil plotters'? Where did you get the idea? Huh? What's that? You weren't saying anything? Oh, never mind, then. ;D

The 3rd Division decides the ultimate good and the evil, and ensures that its all-round exterior doesn't crack under pressure. But then again, no one and nothing has ever defeated a member and cracked their perfection. If something has ever succeeded, it was surely never heard from again....

4. Divisional Duties

A. Rule Enforcement

Every member of the 3rd Division must know and keep up-to-date with the rules and regulations. Members are welcome to go to various locations without having to put up a post, just to make sure that members are keeping the rules. Should you be a member, you have to 'enforce the rules': fix up a battle scene to suit the proper format, correct and inform others when they are posting in a 'fanfiction' format, etc. Don't be too picky, though. People hate the police for a reason.

However, you can only do so in a world. Therefore, even if you are free to cruise and edit over other peoples' posts without actually making an entrance and posting something, you can only do so in the world that you are in. It is wise that the Captain send various officers to the Human World for law enforcement there.

B. Arrest

Should a member break serious laws or a character plot a serious conspiracy, etc., you must arrest them. Any 3rd Division member has the right to arrest another member to any of the Cells in the Jails. However, you shouldn't abuse this power, as you do have to explain that you have done so in an Ongoing Report. Spelling mistakes are definitely NOT a reason for arrest.

When an official arrest is made, it is up to the Captain to write down the length of the sentence in the approporiate cell of the Jails. 2 years is NOT a valid length of sentence. Anywhere between 12 hours to 2 days will do. If the crime is too great, then simply send an Ongoing Report to 1st Division, for the Commander-General. Central 46 will probably have something to say about that.
