Hell yeah, Soul Society has a King. It's also got Central 46, the White Towers, Gotei 13 buildings, and a whole shinigami society. What do all these things have in common? One, they are located in Sereitei. Two, they are important, vital parts of Soul Society, and could use a little bit of security. But then again, in all honesty, you're not going to find one of those burglar-proof alarm technology in ancient Japanese buildings made out of spirit particles.

That's why we have the 10th Division. They are the protectors of Gotei 13 who not only protect the Sereitei walls, but also treat criminals and transport all crucial subjects. Being the security of Gotei 13, 3 of the 4 Gatekeepers are assigned from this Division. It's true that, ever since the Ichigo incident and the 2nd Bleach movie, this Division has been under a lot of heat (you guys saw the Commander-General yelling at poor ol' Histugaya... and then sentencing him to death...), but that only proves the importance of the Division. Don't deny it: had the 10th Division expected Ichigo from the beginning, he and his gang would have met a short and painful death even before the plot of Bleach could take place.

From guarding the Royal family to transporting valuable documents, if you can handle the pressure of protecting the fate of Soul Society, I welcome you to the 10th Division: home to a history of grumpy, pressured Captains... and the pride of Gotei 13.

4. Divisional Duties

A. Security

In all locations of Seretei (except the Merchants' Streets and background-areas, like the Forests), at least 1-3 officers must be present. I recommend that Captain make Sign-in procedures (refer to the 5th Division forum for something like this in the Demon Arts Institute) for each of these locations. All I know is that I will not be pleased when I find no one on duty at the entrance of Central 46. The Jails, especially, is guarded by the 10th Division members.

B. North, South, and East Gate Gatekeepers

Three officers from the Division are selected to the titles, 'East Gate Gatekeeper', 'North Gate Gatekeeper', and 'South Gate Gatekeeper'. The titles given should be under all other rank titles in the officers' signature.

C. Earth Training

The 10th Division is in charge of keeping track of all training that happens on Earth. Officers on shift on Earth may help with this. Training Reports must be filled out for all training, including automatic training for those on Vacation on Earth.
